Are you 14-19 years old?
Would you like the opportunity to perform in a professional production at Dundee Rep Theatre?
Pooroby and Dundee Rep Theatre are looking for a group of young people to perform in their upcoming production of Monstrous Bodies (chasing Mary Shelley down Peep O’Day Lane).
Are you into the ZENZO advert or maybe you like a bit of hip hop like THIS and THIS? Then Monstrous Bodies is definitely something that you want to be involved in! You’ll be playing the parts of school pupils, girls will also be in a hallucination scene wearing corsets, there’s a mannequin challenge and an angry mob!
Mary Shelley came of age in Dundee, spending two years in the city from 1812. In her preface to Frankenstein she writes that Dundee is where she learned to create stories, amidst the fervour of the Napoleonic and American wars.
Meanwhile, Roxanne is a fourth year pupil in Dundee today. A topless picture of her, taken at a party, changes her life forever.
