Eilidh McCormick grew up in Paisley but later moved to London to train at The Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts receiving a BA (Hons) Acting and winning The Spotlight Prize in her graduation year.
She currently splits her time between Glasgow and London balancing her acting work with her role as Manager and Teacher at Italia Conti Associate School Clapham.
Theatre credits include 'There's Someone Who Hates Us' (National Theatre of Scotland & Oran Mor), Bridge (Oran Mor), I Am Me (PACE Theatre Company), Little Ulla & Twinklebell (Grinagog Theatre Company), 'The Christmas Workshop' & 'Blood & Roses' (Poorboy Theatre Company), 'Go Now' (Arches Theatre & The Old Vic Tunnels), RE:Hedda (The Arches Theatre), 'What Sam Told Me' & 'The Martyr' (Theatre 503), A Christmas Carol (Cumbernauld Theatre), 'Tales From The Brothers Grimm (Creation Theatre Company) & 'Nosferatu' (The Arcola Theatre).
She made her West End debut in Steven Berkoff’s ‘On The Waterfront’ at The Theatre Royal Haymarket understudying & then playing Edie Doyle.
She has just finished filming 'Another', a short which will be at film festivals later in the year. Other Film/TV credits include 'Waterloo Road' & 'Shakespeare & Us' (BBC), ‘Small Faces’ (BBC Film) directed by Gillies MacKinnon, various shorts & the lead in feature film 'Behold Me Standing' (Minehorse Pictures). Radio credits include 'Bridge' & 'Rebus- A Question of Blood' (BBC Radio Drama)
